• December 2007 – Agreed MoU with UK based organization looking at Market Access.

• November 2007 – Identified suitable district in north of Bangladesh for bamboo propagation and processing facility.

• October 2007 – Chinese Bamboo Experts spent a week with us in early working on our business model.

Oasis Community Projects (OCP)

• Currently – 24 girls from our Duaripara children-at-risk project are re-entering the formal school system this month, with our support.
• January 2008 –  STOP THE TRAFFIK Bangladesh ran training in participatory drama techniques, using drama to raise awareness about human-trafficking amongst vulnerable groups.
• December 2007 – Our end of year Christmas and Eid Celebration saw the Duaripara girls confidently perform dramas, songs and dances whilst prizes were awarded for their progress this year.
• November 2007 – Cyclone Sidr struck Bangladesh killing more than 3,000 and destroying the homes and livelihoods of thousands more. 
• October 2007 – Working with partners in India on regional co-operation in anti-human trafficking.
